14. EN 001(ISO TC 207) : Environmental management systems

Scope

Standardization in the field of environmental protection including, but not limited to the assessment and/or management of the environmental and human health impacts of new and existing substances such as products of biotechnology, marine pollution, disposal at sea, vehicle, engine and equipment emissions, fuels, hazardous wastes, environmental emergencies, and other sources of pollution. Standards include:

(i) Terminology, methods of sampling and analysis of ambient air and industrial emission, water,

sewage, industrial effluents and waste water

(ii) Guidelines for control of pollution of air at source, water and treatment and disposal of industrial effluents

(iii) Characterization of wastes, sludges, water quality for industrial and agricultural purposes, soil quality, wastewater engineering, hazardous waste management, guidelines, codes of practice for waste management

Scope

Standardization in the field of Biodiversity to develop principles, framework, requirements, guidance and supporting tools in a holistic and global approach for all organizations, to enhance their contribution to Sustainable Development.

Scope

Standardization in the field of menstrual products, covering all products intended for both single and multiple use, regardless of material.

17. SE015: Circular economy

Scope

Standardization in the field of Circular Economy to develop frameworks, guidance, supporting tools and requirements for the implementation of activities of all involved organizations, to maximize the contribution to Sustainable Development.

Excluded: Aspects of Circular Economy already covered by existing committees.

18. BC 048: Concrete, Reinforced Concrete and Pre-Stressed Concrete

Scope

Standardization of the technology of concrete, of the design and construction of concrete, reinforced concrete and pre-stressed concrete structures, so as to ensure progressive development both in quality and in price reduction; and of definitions and terms, as well as testing procedures, to facilitate international exchange of research work.
